- Why does Fressco promote this producer ?
Kate Maters, the founder, grew up in the beautiful south Cambridgeshire countryside where she learned to see all the benefits of a natural, healthy lifestyle from an early age and fostered her passion for pure and natural foods. After giving up nursing to start her own family, the honey which her parents were producing was becoming more and more popular. And so, after two years of research, design and branding she is now proud and excited to share her love of honey through Maters & Co.
Maters & Co sources the best raw honey from their very own hives in Cambridgeshire and other local beekeepers in Hertfordshire and Essex along with ethical beekeepers in Spain. They love to support these small-batch producers who look after their bees and environment all year round. Mater & Co raw honey is never processed and remains as pure as nature intended. This means that it is not pasteurised, refined or blended in any way and contains a rich source of antioxidants, natural enzymes and antibacterial properties that are both essential and beneficial for our health.
